Six killed, several injured in blast near Pak-afghan border

QUETTA: At least six people have been killed and several others  injured in a powerful blast near the Customs House in southwestern Pakistan’s Chaman town on the Pak-Afghan border.

The Pak-Afghan border was closed following the explosion which sources said was a suicide bombing.

Police and rescue teams reached the site of incident and shifting injured people to the nearest hospital.

The nature of the blast is yet to be ascertained.
