Randhawa murder: Court grants 14 day physical remand of suspect

KARACHI: Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) sent suspected terrorist Kazim abbas rizvi, the man arrested in the killing of Naimat Ali Randhawa on a 14-day physical remand on Wednesday, Aaj news reported.

Rizvi was produced before the court under strict security today, following which his remand was ordered.

According to reports, suspect Kazim abbas rizvi was arrested on yesterday night.

According to AIG of Karachi police, Shahid hayat, the accused is also involved in target killings of eight other people. Raids were being conducted to arrest three other accomplices of the accused, he added.

Police claimed to have recovered a 9MM pistol with five rounds from his possession.

Hayat further said that Rizvi had killed Randhawa for pursuing the case of TV reporter Wali Babar who had been killed in 2011.
