Punjab govt to build hospitals in quake hit areas of Balochistan: Shahbaz

LAHORE: Chief Minister Punjab Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has said that in collaboration with the masses the provincial government will build hospitals in quake hit areas of Balochistan.

He was speaking to Chairman Board of Management Post Graduate Medical Institute (PGMI) General (Retd.) Ziauddin Butt and Principal General Hospital Anjum Habeeb who called on him here on Wednesday.

Shahbaz Sharif lauded the passion of the nation in extending help for their Baloch brethren who were adversely affected by devastating earthquake on September 24, 2013.

He urged the affluent segments of the society and welfare organizations for further accelerating the relief activities.

The chief minister also handed over Rs1.4 million cheque for Prime Minister’s fund established for quake affected population of Balochistan.
