President Mamnoon visits mausoleum of Quaid-e-Azam

KARACHI:  President Mamnoon Hussain visited the Mazar of Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah here Sunday to pay tribute to the Father of the Nation.

The President laid floral wreath on the Mazar and offered fateha before writing his impressions in the visitors’ book there.

Sindh Governor Dr. Ishrat-ul- Ebad Khan, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah, MPAs of Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) Shafi Muhammad Jamote and Ms. Sorath Thebo,  senior leaders of PML-N including Secretary General of PML-N Sindh Saleem Zia, former provincial minister and Chief Organiser of PML-N Sindh Muhammad Ismail Rahu, Nihal Hashmi Advocate, Kheldas Kohistani, Nasir Mehmood and Amanullah Paracha, Sindh Chief Secretary Muhammad Ejaz Chaudhry, Inspector General of Police Sindh Nadeem Baloch and Commissioner Karachi Shoaib Siddique accompanied President Mamnoon Hussain after receiving him when he stepped down from Pakistan Air Force (PAF) helicopter near the Quaid’s mausoleum.

A smartly dressed the contingent of armed forces welcomed the President with popular musical band and salute at the mazar.
