PFP confident of revival of film industry in Pakistan


LAHORE: Chairman of Pakistan Film Producers Association, Syed Noor is confident of the revival of the Pakistani film industry by the end of next year.

Talking to APP here Friday, the veteran film producer and director appreciated the Punjab Chief Minister, Shahbaz Sharif for making sincere efforts for revival of the dwindling film
industry.

He disclosed that Punjab Chief Minister has set up a committee to formulate recommendations to uplift the film industry.

Besides others, Punjab Information Secretary, columnist Atta ul Haq Qasimi and Chairman PFPA have also been included in this committee, he added.

He had recommended to the chief minister, he said, to set up a film foundation on the pattern of Punjab Education Foundation. He added that committee would soon submit its recommendations to the CM.
