ISLAMABAD: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) head Maulana Fazlur Rehman on Sunday described the PTI-led Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government as a provincial non-government organization (NGO).
“I know the agenda of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government, which is a provincial NGO,” Rehman told reporters after attending a seminar in the federal capital.
Peace talks began with Taliban right after an all-party conference (APC), he said. “Terror incidents won’t hamper the ongoing peace talks,” he commented.
The JUI-F chief said Islam emphasizes on modesty. One should refrain from politics of conspiracies, he added.
Fazlur Rehman has said Islam teaches moderation but some elements demand Islamic law in the country through use of force.
He stressed the need for motivating youth to seek religious education as it is a Constitutional requirement. He said politics of conspiracies needs to be avoided.
Meanwhile, addressing a seminar in Peshawar, Chief of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazal (JUI-F) Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman on Sunday said environment of Pakistan is moderate but Pakistani children’s must not be misled.
Mulana Fazal-ur-Rehman said politicians think that politics is worse as earlier Nawaz Sharif and Asif Ali Zardari has said that they won’t politicize each other because of national interest.
He said constitution of Pakistan has given the right for promotions of religious education but many things practiced against constitution of Pakistan.
“Islam gives the education of moderation and peace but not promotes extremism”, he added that people don’t tried to understand Islamic educations but tried to impose Sharia by force.
Fazal-ur-rehman said that JUI-F has promoted the Islamic education in KPK but some people from current government of KPK alleged that they are cleaning the JUI-F’s stuff. He added that Jewish lobby is working in KPK.
JUI-F’s leader said KPK is being rolled by a NGO and he knows its goals.
