KARACHI: Despite police and Rangers crackdown against criminals, violence related incidents continued in Karachi, claiming three more lives, media reported Thursday.
Police said Lyari General Hospital’s RMO Dr. Abdul Ghani was also among those who got killed when caught in firing between two armed groups in Karachi’s Bihar Colony.
Two other people were also killed in the crossfire and four wounded.
Earlier, Rangers conducted raids in different parts of Lyari locality, arresting at least 13 suspected criminals.
Police also claimed to have arrested 29 more ‘criminals’ during their ongoing crackdown in various areas of the city, including suspected target-killers associated with banned outfits.
