ISLAMABAD: Danish Ambassador to Pakistan Jesper Sorensen has said Pakistan is an attractive country for investment particularly in energy and education sectors.
In an interview‚ he said Denmark is investing fifty million dollars under a new development program in Pakistan.
Under the programme‚ standard of educational institutions in Balochistan‚ FATA and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will be promoted.
He said about 500 schools in Pakistan have been upgraded providing education of one hundred and fifty thousand students in these areas.
He said his country is also working with UNICEF for training of teachers in Pakistan.
The Ambassador said Denmark can also cooperate for the development of dairy farms and agriculture in Pakistan.
He said his country is helping Pakistan for preparing the medicine for diabetes.
