Indian PM praises Nawaz’s stance on Pak-India relations

ISLAMABAD: Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Tuesday appreciated his Pakistani counterpart Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif’s point of view during Pak-India talks with the sideline of UN Summit.

According to media reports, Indian Prime Minister expressed hope that Nawaz would succeed to bring Pak-India relations on track.

“Both countries agreed to establish contacts between Director Generals of Military Operations (DGMO’s) on Line of Control (LoC) for peace,” he said and adding it will take time to implement the decisions of DGMO’s meetings.

Indian Prime Minister further said that these steps should be taken to improve Pak-India relations.
