LAHORE: Punjab Government will give a special Eid package to the earthquake affected people in Awaran district of Balochistan.
The announcement was made by Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif in Lahore.
He appreciated the devotion to duty of the pilots of Punjab Government s helicopter during earthquake relief duty in Awaran and directed them to continue to perform their duty during Eid days.
Meanwhile‚ Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has said that his government will continue to assist the quake affected people of Balochistan.
He was speaking at a meeting with Governor Punjab Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar in Lahore on Monday.
The Chief Minister said that the people and philanthropists of Punjab have contributed generously to assist their quake-hit people of Balochistan.
Shahbaz Sharif said that his government has chalked out a plan to set up Punjab Employment Bank to provide soft loans to the youth.
The Chief Minister and Governor Punjab discussed development and welfare projects in the province and relief activities in quake affected areas in Balochistan.
