Federal Govt on to end energy crisis: Salam Khattak


DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) Provincial Secretary General Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Rehmat Salam Khattak Thursday said that federal government is committed to end energy crisis.

Talking to APP here, he said that on the directives of Prime Minister of Pakistan the Federal Minister for Water and Power has started 25 mega projects that would help generate 19,944 Mega Watt of electricity.

He said that these projects would provide employment opportunities and also address the issue of loadshedding and tripping.

Khattak informed that 10 hydel power, seven thermal power, one nuclear power, one solar energy and one wind power scheme have been started.

He said that some schemes have been completed while rest are in progress and to be completed at the earliest.
