Coast Guards recover 25kg of heroin


KARACHI: Pakistan Coast Guards (PCG) seized fine quality of heroin from general area Gulshan-e-Maymar, says a PCG press release issued here on Saturday.

The PCG officials had received credible information that a substantial amount of heroin had been dumped in a compound in the area with the motive to smuggle it out of the country.

On receiving the information the PCG personal raided the place and recovered 25 kg of heroin hidden in an empty water tank.

The estimated value of the contraband seized is worth millions of dollars. An special investigation team is investigating the case.
