ISLAMABAD: Spokes man of Balochistan government Jan Buledi said the Chief Minister Balochistan is taking keen interest in rescue operations in quake-hit areas.
Talking to Radio Pakistan, He said that CM personally visited the remote areas, showed solidarity with the victims.
He said that people in quake-hit areas are facing difficulties due to lack of infrastructure and proper administration.
He added that, these areas had been ignored during the past and the incumbent government has taken steps to bring these areas into the mainstream.
He further stated that security personnel perform rescue operations all over the world when there is earthquake or flood etc but due to lack of infrastructure it is a difficult task to reach there to help people.
Jan buledi said the recent devastating earthquake had caused a huge loss of life and property and that the affected people were in dire need of help.
He said there was a possibility of outbreak of waterborne diseases if clean drinking water was not urgently provided to the affected people in Awaran district of Balochistan.
