Afghanistan to face problems after US withdrawal: Najmuddin Sheikh


ISLAMABAD: Former Foreign Secretary Najamuddin Sheikh has said that Afghanistan is likely to face a lot of strategic problems after the withdrawal of US troops.

Talking to Radio Pakistan, he said that Pakistan has made it clear to the US that it wants Afghan-led and Afghan-owned peace process.

Regarding the financial aid, Sheikh said news is coming in this regard that US wants to give 20 billion dollars for Dasu Dam to Pakistan and also want to influence World Bank and Asian Development Bank to provide financial assistance to Pakistan.
