SSP dismisses 27 policemen for links with criminals, negligence

HYDERABAD: The Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Hyderabad Fida Hussain Mastoi has removed from service 27 policemen on charges of negligence in duty, connections with criminals and absence from duty.

Police spokesman Mazhar Shani said here on Saturday that among the removed policemen 5 were posted at the police stations while all the remaining were on duty in the police lines.

The policemen posted at the police stations who were removed from service include head constable Ghulam Rasool at PS Tando Jam, constable Mushtaq at PS GOR, constable Mohammad Aslam at PS Market, constable Hashim Raza at PS Cantonment and constable Shahid Abbass at PS SITE.

The other sacked policemen include constables Qadir Bux Laghari, Moharram Ali, Manzoor Ali, Shahzeb, Ghulam Mustafa, Roshan Ali, Fazlur-Rehman, Mohammed Umair, Ghulam Murtaza, Qurban Ali, Suleman, Muhammad Bux, Sikandar Ali, Shahzain, Zaheed Ahmed, Mohammad Saleh, Allah Dino, Lal Muhammed, Hussain Bux, Mohammad Khan, Abdul Rehman and Mohammad Paryal.

Paryal, according to the policeman, is an accused in the recent murder case of a fruit vendor Abdul Ghaffar Agro, shot dead at the main entrance of police headquarters last month.
