RCCI condemns Peshawar church attack

RAWALPINDI: The President Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) Manzar Khurshid Sheikh on Monday strongly condemned the Peshawar Church blast and said that no human being can even think of so cruel act.

“Human being cannot commit such shameful, coward and inhuman act of terror, they just want to propagate negative image of Pakistan but they will never succeed in their heinous ambitions”, he said.

He said that Muslims, Christians, Hindus and other minorities are united under the flag of Pakistan and they all are Pakistanis and there is no religious and sectarian disputes in the country. Whatever is happening in the country is that some traitors have become puppets in the hands of foreign elements who want to destabilize Pakistan, he added.

Rawalpindi Chamber and the business community of the country not only condemn this shameful act but demand of the government to bring the culprits behind the bars, he asserted.

Manzar Khurshid said that business community is concerned about the law & order situation because business activities make a country strong economically and financially to better serve the nation and development of businesses is the only way to success. He urged the government to adopt a clear policy of dialogue with those who want so and a strict and result oriented operation with full force against those who challenge the writ of the State.

He assured that business community will support government stance in this regard. He was exchanging these views with a delegation of traders and industrialists at his office. Senior vice President Pervez Ahmed Warriach and Vice President Nadeem Rauf were also present on the occasion.
