ISLAMABAD: The PML-N government‚ in its first 100 days‚ has made successful headway towards improving overall law and order situation‚ particularly in Karachi‚ and overcoming the energy crisis.
The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting in a report says the government has set the direction of foreign policy to improve country’s profile at international level.
The government has made successful efforts to reach a consensus for eradicating terrorism.
The report said that from the very first day‚ the government has pursued a policy of broader reconciliation. Instead of forming its own governments in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan provinces‚ PML-N accepted the mandate of the other parties. It also did not take political advantage of no confidence motion moved against the government in Azad Kashmir.
The report said the Prime Minister sent off former President Asif Ali Zardari honourably by hosting a luncheon. NNI
