ISLAMABAD: The Federal Cabinet meeting is currently underway under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Mian Nawaz Sharif in the capital city of Islamabad Friday.
According to the sources, Federal Minister for Science and Technology Zahid Hamid presented the draft of modification in the anti-terrorism laws that were accepted by the Federal Cabinet.
The Cabinet is also discussing over the 12-point agenda during the session. It is also expected that the Cabinet will approve the Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Local Government Act to make up the local bodies elections and administrative frame in the federal government.
The bill to set up food safety, animal and plant health regulatory authority will also be presented for acceptance during the session.
Moreover, the members will discuss over the implementation of the decisions taken during the All Parties Conference (APC). Also, the Cabinet members will discuss over the steps with respect to the dialogue process with the Taliban. The Interior Ministry will inform PM Nawaz over the issue.
