ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Foreign Office has rejected a report regarding the country’s nuclear program published in US newspaper Washington Post.
During a weekly news briefing, Foreign Office spokesperson Aizaz Chaudhry said the US newspaper report was not an assessment of Pakistan’s nuclear program.
Chaudhry added that Pakistan was opposed to military intervention in Syria stating that it would deteriorate the situation. The spokesperson said a solution for the situation in Syria should come via the United Nations.
