ISLAMABAD: The Executive Committee (EC) of National Economic Council (NEC) pondered over approval of 16 different projects worth 128 billion rupees today.
Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar chaired a meeting of the ECNEC in Islamabad this day and mulled over approval of 16 projects including railways, physical planning, transport, energy, water, health, higher education, and atmosphere.
Amongst those 16 projects of 128 billion rupees was included a reviewed plan of purchasing 50 engines for Pakistan Railways.
The meeting also exchanged views for approving reviewed assessments for Kachi Canal Project and improvement of security at all airports of the country.
Hvelian-Mansehra Express Way, Construction of bridge on River Ravi in Toba Tek Singh, two projects of hydro-power, and construction of Nawab Shah-Sanghar Road were also include in agenda of the meeting.
