ISLAMABAD: Illegally detained senior liberation leader, Mushtaq-ul-Islam, was rearrested by the Indian police soon after his release on bail from Srinagar Central Jail.
Mushtaq-ul-Islam, who was lodged at the Central Jail under the black
law, Public Safety Act, for the 11th consecutive time was released on court orders on Thursday. He was taken to some unknown place after his re-arrest from the main gate of the Central Jail, a liberation activist told media men, Kashmir Media Service reported.
Reacting to the arrest of Mushtaq-ul-Islam, he termed it as an act of
harassment of people to suppress the ongoing liberation struggle. The puppets of New Delhi are using draconian laws like PSA against the pro-freedom leaders including Mushtaq-ul-Islam to get rewards from their masters sitting in New Delhi, he said.
He said that by such tactics neither the pro-freedom leaders could be forced to change their political stand nor the liberation sentiment of the Kashmiri people could be suppressed.
Saluting the courage of Mushtaq-ul-Islam, he appealed to the international organizations to come forward to stop New Delhi from committing human rights violations in occupied Kashmir and release Mushtaq-ul-Islam and all other political prisoners languishing in different jails.
