Murder case of FIA prosecutor Ch. Zulfiqar stands resolved

ISLAMABAD: A body buried at the residence of Hammad Adil, a prime accused in Bhara Kahu case regarding the recovery of explosives, has been recovered; according to police sources, the body is of the assassin of FIA Prosecutor Chaudhry Zulfiqar, media reported Wednesday.

Police sources said the body was disinterred from the courtyard of Hammad Adil, the main suspect in Bhara Kahu explosive-packed car case after he made revelations to police to this effect.

The police sources said the body belongs to terrorist Haris, who assaulted the Prosecutor Chaudhry Zulfiqar of Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) in Benazir Bhutto murder case. Saboteur Haris was killed in retaliation by FC guards.

Hammad buried him in the courtyard of his house.

It should be mentioned here that FIA’s Chaudhry Zulfiqar was assassinated on May 4 when he had hardly come out of his residence to go to the hearing of the case.

The other accused Umar Abdullah booked in attack on Chaudhry Zulfiqar, is currently in jail on judicial remand.

Police shifted the body exhumed from Hammad’s house to PIMS Hospital and extended jurisdiction of the investigations
