NEW YORK: Indian Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh said he is also looking forward to meeting his Pakistani counterpart Mian Nawaz Sharif; he has but a few expectations from it, media reported Saturday.
This one-on-one high-level meeting will take place on Sunday on the sidelines of United Nations General Assembly in New York. The delegations from the two sides will not attend the meeting at the behest of Indian government.
On the occasion of his meeting with US President Obama in the Oval Office of the White House in Washington, the Indian PM Singh said, “I look forward to meeting with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif even though the expectations have to be toned down.”
The Indian premier reiterated that Pakistan hitherto remains an epicenter of terrorism.
