KARACHI: Two group exchanged fire in Karachi on Monday after the death of one person, media reports.
The clash took place in Korangi area of the metropolis.
One house and two motorbikes were set ablaze by angry people. Police and rangers personnel reached the scene and resorted to aerial firing and shelling to disperse protesters.
According to reports, there is complete black-out in the locality which remains tense.
Police say they have detained 47 suspects for disturbing law and order.
Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah took note of the incident and asked officials to ensure arrest of trouble makers.
