Karachi: 48 more criminals arrested by Rangers as crackdown continues

KARACHI: Paramilitary Rangers continued their anti-criminal crackdown in Karachi, rounding up 48 more suspected criminals, including extortionists and gang war members.

Rangers spokesman said the law-enforcers conducted raids in different restive areas of the city as part of their ‘targeted operation’ and arrested over 48 suspects, recovering arms from them.

Rangers said the suspects included target-killers, extortionists and members of Lyari gang war, adding that most of the criminals were associated with local political groups.
