Karachi: 35 more suspects arrested amid police, Rangers crackdown

KARACHI: Paramilitary Rangers on Tuesday arrested 35 more suspects including target killers and extortionists in the ongoing targeted action in different areas of Karachi.

A spokesman of Sindh Rangers said weapons have also been recovered from the custody of the arrested persons, most of them belong with political groups.

Rangers claimed that weapons, including SSGs and crackers, were also recovered in the search operation.

The raids were conducted in Jamshed Road, Pathan Colony, Lyari, Landi, Shah Faisal, North Nazimabad, Gadap and other areas.

Police have also arrested over 100 suspected criminals during their crackdown across the city, to restrain violence and targeted killings which continued in the metropolis despite the operations.
