Hyderabad: Aerial firing leaves six injured

HYDERABAD: At least six persons were injured by gunshots as a result of aerial firing incidents late Friday night in the limits of three separate police stations.

According to Pinyari police, three persons including a girl were injured by bullets.

The victims include 35- year- old Arshad Ali, who received leg injury, 20- year- old Tehmina Malik received arm injury and 28- year-old Yaqoob Shakoor, received injury in his hand.

All the injured are residents of Paretabad area. Similarly, in the limits of City police station, 35- year- old Mubeen Basheer was hit by a bullet in the leg in Shahi Bazaar area while 22- year- old Farhan suffered a gunshot wound in his right shoulder in the same

According to Market police, 22- year- old Hassan, a resident of Dadan Shah Colony, was hit in the arm.

All the injured were shifted to Civil Hospital and are said to be in a uncritical condition.

The police say aerial firing was a reaction to the killing of a worker of a political party in Tando Jam the other day.
