HYDERABAD:General Secretary Jamiat Ulema-i Islam (JUI-F) Sindh Senator Dr. Khalid Mehmood Soomro has underlined the need of carrying out result- oriented indiscriminate targeted operation in Karachi without involving the Army.
Addressing a news conference here at Hyderabad Press Club on Tuesday, Senator Dr. Khalid Mehmood Soomro said that the task should be given to rangers and police to carry out result- oriented indiscriminate targeted operation in Karachi.
Senator Dr. Khalid Mehmood Soomro said that besides health and education issues, the people of the country are experiencing great hardship due to price hike on commodities. He demanded the government to bring down the petrol price.
He said a number of schools in Sindh have been converted into the personal “drawing rooms” of feudals and the poor people have been deprived of medicines in the hospitals and added that the government should pay attention in this direction.
Commenting on American threats of war against Syria, he said that all Muslim countries of the world should protest on such an act of America.
Other leaders of JUI(F) including Maulana Taj Muhammad Nahiyoun, Qari Kamran, Azam Jehangiri and Khalid Hassan Dhamra were also present on the occasion.
