BAHAWALPUR: Chief Minister Punjab Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has said the government is taking every possible step for early rehabilitation of the people affected by the recent floods across the province.
He said this while addressing the flood affected people at Balla Jhallan after inspecting the embankment on River Indus‚ near Uch Sharif‚ Bahawalpur‚ on Tuesday.
Chief Minister said that a survey would be launched for the assessment of the losses caused by recent floods very soon and by the end of this month payment to the flood affected people will be started.
Chief Minister Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif said that in order to save the masses permanently from the havoc of flood‚ long term planning has been announced and its report will be presented in next one and half month. NNI
