ISLAMABAD: Hurriyet leader, Syed Ali Gilani has reiterated his call for protests on Friday and Saturday against the proposed musical concert being organized at Shalimar Garden in Srinagar.
Syed Ali Gilani in statement issued in Srinagar appealed to all the people in general and students of colleges and universities in particular to overwhelmingly participate in protests,KMS reported.
He criticized puppet chief minister Omar Abdullah for following the dictates of New Delhi for the sake of power.
The veteran leader said that the main aim of puppet rulers was to suppress and hurt the sentiments of Kashmiri people.
He said that he had summoned an emergency session at Hyderpora in Srinagar to discuss the proposed musical concert but the administration foiled by deploying a huge contingent of police at the entry of a lane leading towards the venue, who prevented the participants from attending the programme.
He lamented that the German government had ignored the appeal of vast majority of the Kashmiri people proving that it had proved that they were least bothered about human rights violations in Kashmir.
