KARACHI: Chief Minister Sindh, Syed Qaim Ali Shah has said that protection of public lives and property is responsibility of provincial government and elements involved in sabotaging the peace of the city would not be spared at any cost.
He stated this while presiding over a high-level meeting to review the law and order situation in Karachi here on Thursday. The meeting was attended by high officials including chief secretary, secretary law and advocate general.
Syed Qaim Ali Shah directed rangers and police to continue joint action against the criminals across the city.
He said that to restore peace in Karachi, administration should ensure implementation of decision made during the federal cabinet meeting.
The chief minister said if there was any legal complexity in registering cases against the terrorists then it should be removed.
