PESHAWAR: Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Pervez Khattak has condemned the tragic incident of Upper Dir in which high ranked officers and solider Pak Army was martyred.
He has expressed heartfelt sorrow and grief over the martyrdom of Major General Sanaullah, Lieutenant Colonel Tauseef and Lance Naik Irfan.
In a statement issued here on Monday the chief minister expressed sympathies and condolence with the bereaved families and prayed for the departed souls to rest in eternal peace. He has also prayed for the early recovery of the injured.
Pervez Khattak expressed solidarity and sympathy with the Pak Army and the bereaved families and eulogized the sacrifices rendered by the security forces for the restoration of peace.
The government and people of KP equally share the grief and loss of the bereaved families, he said adding that the nation is really proud of the sacrifices of the security forces.
