MOHALI: India’s Hyderabad Sun Risers have defeated Pakistan’s Faisalabad Wolves in second qualifying match by seven wickets in Champions League T20 (CLT20) tournament in Mohali on Wednesday.
Faisalabad Wolves were agin defeated in their second qualifying match against rival team of Hyderabad sun Risers at Mohali Stadium on Wednesday by showing very low performance and giving very easy acquiring target of only a28 runs while batting first.
Faisalabad Wolves mange to save lost of quick wickets but failed to score impressively to set a reasonable target for rivals.
They faced great difficulties while playing like beginners to set an impressive target for Hyderabad Sun Risers. Misbah-ul-Haq played well today and made 56 runs on 40 balls.
Opener Ammar Mehmood scored 31 runs on 38 balls and his counterpart made 16 runs on 21 balls. Imran Khalid scored only two runs, Khurram Shehzad four runs, and Mohammad Salaman undefeated three runs.
Faisalabad Wolves scored 127 runs after losing five wickets and set 128 runs’ easy target for Hyderabad Sun Risers till completion of assigned 20 overs.
Hyderabad Sun Risers played confidently and achieved required target in 18th over after losing only three wickets. They won opening match against Pakistan by eight wickets. They won the match by seven wickets.
