RAWALPINDI: After over five years, the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has decided to become party in the Benazir Bhutto murder case.
PPP Secretary General, Sardar Latif Khosa has filed an application with the special court and asked for documents pertaining to previous proceedings in the murder case of the former prime minister.
An anti-terrorism court, has indicted former president, General (retd) Pervez Musharraf and six others in the case.
The former prime minister was killed during a gun and bomb attack after an election rally in Rawalpindi on 27th December 2007. The government of Pervez Musharraf had blamed her assassination on the banned outfit Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).
