PESHAWAR: The Apex Committee of the province in its 34th meeting held under the Chairmanship of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor, Engineer Shaukatullah reviewed the law and order situation in the province and considered its various aspects to further streamline the ongoing arrangements.
The meeting was also attended by the provincial Chief Minister, Parvez Khan Khattak and the Corps Commander, Peshawar , Lt. Gen. Khalid Rabbani at Governor’s House here Wednesday.
The provincial Chief Secretary, Muhammad Shahzad Arbab and the heads of law enforcements agencies also attended the meeting and highlighted salient features of the prevailing state of their working as well as their point of view to further streamline the process.
Talking on this occasion, the Governor said that repatriation of IDPs hailing from FATA to their native places is now a matter of days.
The law and order situation in FATA is under control now which definitely will accrue positive effects in the province as well. he added.
He, however, also pointed out that “We have to remain cautious to ensure security of peace loving citizen possible to the maximum extent in future too”.
