Naheed Khan demands President Zardari to leave PPP with family

ISLAMABAD: Naheed Khan, former personal secretary of martyred PPP leader Benazir Bhutto, has demanded the current Co-Chairman of the PPP, President Asif Ali Zardari to leave the party with his family.

The annoyed and currently detached PPP leader Naheed Khan addressed a Black-Day ceremony at National Press Club in Islamabad this day.

Naheed Khan criticized current leadership sternly and said that President Zardari has dug roots of the PPP with his termite bugs.

“Only Benazir Bhutto can terminate my PPP membership and bring her back if someone intends to kick me out of the party,” she added.

The annoyed PPP leader said on the occasion that today again situation is similar to July 5, 1977 and it is time for standing up, not speeches as chain of the provinces is scattering into pieces.

Nheed Khan persuaded the loyal PPP activists on the occasion to get up for Bhutto’s mission, saying the PPP has been confined within Sindh province only; now it is time for the PPP activists to take Bhutto’s flag in hand to prove loyalty with two great leaders’ graves in Garhi Khuda Bukhsh.

The PPP will survive under Bhuttoism only, and which party does not respect its workers, that cannot be the PPP at all, she added.
