LHC to take action against Shahbaz if measles death not stoped

LAHORE: If further more deaths occurred due to measles out break in the province of Punjab, the Lahore High Court will take serious action against chief minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif and other concerned authorities.

The court summoned  Director General (DG) Health Punjab Dr Tanvir Ahmed about measures taken to control the damage caused by the outbreak.

The DG Health told that children have been vaccinated and this will help reduce the number of deaths considerably.

In response to DG Health’s statement, the court directed Punjab CM and other health department officials to submit their reports over the issue to the court by the next hearing.
