ISLAMABAD: British Prime Minister David Cameron Saturday received a red carpet welcome as he arrived Pakistan on a two-day official visit to further strengthen bilateral ties. The British Prime Minister, along with his entourage, landed at Nur Khan Airbase at Chaklala where he was received by Minister for Science and Technology Zahid Hamid and UK High Commissioner Adam Thompson. Clad in traditional dresses, a young boy and a girl presented the visiting dignitary bouquets as mark of honour.
This is Cameron’s second visit to Pakistan as earlier he visited the country in April 2011. During his stay in Islamabad, the visiting dignitary will hold wide ranging talks with the top Pakistani leadership on various bilateral issues.
