Ranger’s operation in Ittehad Town, Karachi

KARACHI: The Pakistan Rangers Sindh on Thursday launched search operation in Ittehad Town, a slum area in the suburb of the metropolis.

According to reports, over 1000 paramilitary troops including female officials entered the area and started raiding houses after closing entry and exit points of the locality.

Several people were held during the raids and interrogation was being carried out. The operation was still underway.

At least four Rangers officials were killed and several others injured when a blast targeted Rangers headquarters in Korangi area of the city.
