KARACHI: The young chairman of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Bilawal Bhutto Zardari came back to Pakistan early on Tuesday morning.
His plane landed at the Jinnah International airport of Karachi after flying back from Dubai.
Bilawal had left for Dubai on March 26 amid reports of a rift with President Zardari and Faryal Talpur over the party’s political issues including militancy, sectarianism and the awarding of party tickets for the upcoming general elections.
Whereas Faryal Talpur while speaking at a news conference at the president’s camp office in Naudero, denied all the differences with Bilawal and rumors related.
A senior PPP leader said Bilawal Bhutto was likely to stay in Karachi for “a day or two” before flying to Larkana to attend the 34th death anniversary of his grandfather, former prime minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, to be held in Garhi Khuda Bakhsh on April 4.
“The schedule of his engagements has not been finalized, but he will definitively attend the death anniversary of Bhutto and later party meetings,” the PPP leader said.
