Atrocity: Another ANP leader attacked in Charsadda

CHARSADDA: Another atrocity was inflicted on Awami National Party as (ANP) member Farooq Khan’s house was targeted in a bomb attack in Charsadda on Wednesday.

According to the reports the entire house has been destroyed due to the intensity of bomb blast but fortunately no life damage or serious injury has been reported.

Frooq Khan had returned home from Sardheri after the election campaign.

Those who were injured lightly were treated at the Charsadda Hospital.

ANP has been a constant target of terrorist as earlier on April 16, at least 18 people were killed and 49 others sustained injuries in a suicide blast in Peshawar near an ANP meeting. The bomb blast took place in Yakatoot just after the arrival of senior ANP leader Ghulam Ahmed Bilour.

Another ANP local leader Mukarram Shah lost his life after his car was blown up in Manglawar, Swat and Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa MPA Adnan Wazir was injured when a remote-controlled bomb exploded near his vehicle in the Wali Noor area of Frontier Region (FR) Bannu.

ANP leader Asfandyar Wali had also stated that he will sue the CEC and ECP for not providing ample security to his party members and workers.
