Two suspected militants planning to attack Musharraf nabbed in Rawalpindi

RAWALPINDI: Intelligence officials Saturday arrested two suspected militants in a raid at a house in Adiala Road, who were planning an attack on former President Pervez Musharraf.

Intelligence sources said besides detaining the two suspects, six rocket launchers, six kgs of explosive material and 18 detonators were also recovered from the terrorists.

Both the suspects, identified as Siddique Khayali and Shakir, are activists of Ghazi Force. They have been shifted to some unknown location for interrogation.

The intelligence officials said that during the preliminary investigation it was revealed that both were planning to target the former President.
