Sindh CM distributes cheques among injured victims of Abbas Town

KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah distributed compensation cheques of Rs 1 million each to the injured in Abbas Town Bomb blast incident.

The cheques were given at a simple ceremony organised at the Chief Minister House here on Monday.
It was attended among others by the Deputy Speaker, Sindh Assembly Ms Shehla Raza, Provincial Minister Agha Siraj Durrani, CM’s Senior Special Assistant Rashid Rabbani, CM’s Special Assistant Waqar Mehdi, MQM leader Syed Sardar Ahmed, Younas Barai of Jamaat-e-Islami, Commissioner Karachi Syed Hashim Raza and the families of the injured.

Fateha was also offered for the departed souls and prayed (dua) for early recovery of the injured.
While talking to the family members of the victims, Syed Qaim Ali Shah said that every possible step would be taken for rehabilitation of the affectees.
