Rihanna cured of laryngitis, back on track with US tour

After having to cancel her Sunday show following her laryngitis diagnosis, Rihanna AKA Robyn Rihanna Fenty resumes her US tour tonight.

The multiple Grammy winner had to perform in Boston, Massachusetts on Sunday as part of her Diamonds World Tour, but following the beginning of her tour on Friday at Buffalo, New York, she was diagnosed with laryngitis, inflammation of the vocal cords which can cause temporary loss of voice. Since her doctor ordered her to rest, she had to postpone her Sunday gig.

Perhaps scared by the strong reactions to Justin Bieber’s recent cancellation, she earnestly expressed regret over her own cancellation by writing on Twitter, “I hate disappointing people that never ever let me down!! I’m so embarrassed about this! Thank you for your prayers and well wishes!”

Reportedly, the Barbadian songstress has recovered now and will get back on stage at Baltimore’s 1st Mariner Arena today.
