PPP’s MPA Rafique Engineer dies of cardiac arrest

KARACHI: Sindh Minister of Special Education Rafique Engineer died of a cardiac arrest on Tuesday morning in Karachi.

According to the sources, 49-years old, Rafique left for a morning walk near his home when he suffered a heart attack, he was immediately shifted to hospital but could not survived.

Family sources told that, His funeral to be held at Li-market liyari and will be buried at Mewa Shah graveyard.

Rafique Engineer was an old member of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and became member of Sindh provincial assembly on PPP ticket from layari PS-109, Karachi 21.

He had earlier served as the general secretary of the People Youth Wing’s Karachi division and later became the general secretary of the party’s Karachi wing.
