LAHORE: Film star Meera (Irtiza Rubab) has announced to contest against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf chairman Imran Khan in the upcoming elections.
The famous actress has taken nomination papers for the National Assembly’s seat NA-126. She will be contesting elections from the platform of Justice Party.
Chairman of the Justice Party said that she will be given ticket of the party for contesting polls from NA 126.
Meanwhile, MQM’s Asma Afzal has submitted nomination papers for NA-127 while PML-N’s Rana Mashood submiited papers for PP-149.
The nomination papers were to be submitted 4PM today.
