Imran Khan, Nawab of Bahawalpur agrees on seat adjustment

BAHAWALPUR: The Chairman Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan have agreed on a seat adjustment with Nawab of Bahawalpur for the upcoming general elections 2013.

In a meeting at the residence of Nawab of Bahahwalpur, Nawab Salahuddin both the leaders agreed on a seat adjustment in Bahahwalpur with a well-thought-out strategy.

The seat adjustment will be made in light of committee reports from both sides at the provincial level.

Talking to the media on the occasion, Imran Khan said that PTI could be relied upon Nawab Sahab, they both never had the representations in the parliament but have same agenda of serving the nation.

Upon a question Khan said he is grateful to PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif, he cleaned up his party from the opportunists now what PTI carries is a coherent agenda towards the transparent elections.

“We will leave our seats but we will not give a ticket to a corrupt politician”, Khan said.

He said he will not take oath from Asif Ali Zardari.

Both the leaders expressed optimism that they were hopeful for free and transparent election.
