ANF recovers 3 kg heroin at Islamabad Airport


ISLAMABAD: Anti Narcotics Force (ANF) in another successful operation at Benazir Bhutto International Airport, Islamabad recovered 3 kilograms of heroin.

As per details ANF received an information that narcotics will be smuggled to Saudi Arabia from Benazir Bhutto International Airport, Islamabad, said a press release on Thursday.

Acting upon information ANF while checking the luggage of Jeddah bound passengers recovered 3 kg heroin concealed in bags of Shoukat Ali son of Younis resident of Chak No.1/North Ghakra, Phularwan, Tehsil & District Sargodha, Mst. Fatima w/o Shoukat Ali resident of Chak No.1/North Ghakra, Phularwan, Tehsil & District Sargodha and Muhammad Asghar son of Muhammad Younis, resident of Gole Hayata, Flour Mill Chowk near Water Tanki, Faisalabad.

All three passengers were scheduled to fly by PIA flight No.PK-741 from Islamabad to Jeddah `Saudi Arabia’.

Drugs were tactfully concealed in the secret cavities of their suitcases.

Accused have been arrested on the spot. A case U/S CNS Act-1997 has been registered.
