Abbas town blast: Suspects sent to jail on 14-day physical remand

ISLAMABAD: The Six suspects of Abbas town blast were sent to jail on 14-day physical remand, reported AAJ news here Friday.

The anti-terrorism court during the hearing of case today, ordered police to take physical remand of six suspects including Sher Alam Mehsud, Bashir Ahmad and Inam Ullah for 14-days in Abbas town tragedy that killed 49 and wounded 140 people in Karachi.

The suspects including Sher Alam Mehsud, the mastermind of the blast were arrested from Surjani town Karachi belonging to Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan.

Later, Speaking to media representatives, senior police official Shahid Hayat said police have also takenk into custody two members of the banned Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), Khairdeen and Ishaq, after an encounter in Karachi’s Sea View area.
