Young doctors association’s protest enters its second day

Young doctors association’s protest entered its second day in Lahore on Thursday – however, doctors unrelentingly provided treatment to patients in medical camps set-up outside the hospitals.

Managements of many prominent government hospitals did not let the YDA’s strike to succeed on its first day and only two medical camps were witnessed in government hospitals.

On a similar note, the Punjab government’s departmental action against the doctors on protest continued and suspension orders have been issued again up to three doctors.

Moreover, the provincial government has also authorized hospital administrations to take action against doctors causing obstruction to daily routine operations.
